We had a great field trip last week to Balarat! We'll hopefully post some pictures soon.

Reading/Writing:
Topics = In Reading, we read a cute story about a girl and a stray dog during World War 2 bombings in England. We will also look at an article about how bullying can affect anybody, including popular kids in school. In Writing, we will be adding some reviewing introductions and adding conclusions to our "Path to Success" essays.
Essential Questions = We are encouraging to students to be open and communicate about bullying, so families can help promote this idea. Feel free to ask about their progress towards their "Path to Success" essays. Many have determined college and career dreams, but have also added lots of other fun information about health, family and future adventures.

We'll also brainstorm together to break down what is required to actually have a civilization.
Essential Questions = What kinds of things do you need to have to make a civilization? Do you think we're civilized? How has agriculture affected our lives the most?
Education for Sustainability (EfS)
