Welcome to the FINAL WEEKLY 7TH GRADE UPDATE! These emails are designed to keep you up to date on what's happening inside and outside the classroom here in the seventh grade.
General News
- Report Cards will be sent home today with students. We are attaching a parent signature page to be returned Tuesday. The signature page will serve as a ticket for our end-of-year festivities.
- Volunteers Wanted for Field Day and the Urban Hike this Wednesday and Thursday. Please contact Mr. Piza or Mr. Logan if you are free either of these days and can help chaperone small groups of students. THANKS to parents and guardians who have pitched in so often this year!
- 8th Grade Commencement will be on June 4th at George Washington High School.
End of the Year Festivities!
Field Day (Wednesday)
We will be going to Crestmoor Park for most of the day and hosting several activities from individual contests to whole group mayhem. Students should bring water bottles (preferably with ice) and wear plenty of sunscreen.
Urban Hike (Thursday)
As we chase down the 100 mile mark for many students, we will craft routes for different challenges and head out for much of the day. Again, water bottles, sun screen and good shoes will be needed for the long day. Its possible we may even be taking a group on an extended bike ride as one of the options.
Last Day of School (Friday)
Students will be performing their plays in Language Arts class and Mr. Logan will be hosting a math movie. We will also have time for final goodbyes for the year.
Have a great week!
