Reading
We are starting Peter Pan which will serve as the main focus for the rest of the school year. Some students are reading the Argonautica. Both groups will be working with Standard 7.3 identifying story elements and analyzing how they interact. As we work, we are starting to create and populate our portfolios. Feel free to have students show you the work as it progresses. We will create a finished portfolio with about 13 entries before the school year is done.
Writing
We are taking our debate research and writing arguments.
EfS
We are getting ready for our camping trip and finishing the research component of our Race Unit.
Math
We will be spending this last month reviewing key 7th grade topics and taking a more complete look at concepts in Geometry - angle relationships, volume and surface area of 3-dimensional shapes and circles. Remember to check your student's SchoolNet account for quiz results and check here for assignments and lessons.
Homework
None this week due to testing.
Have a great week!
